4th Of July Picnic

It’s on! Join your neighbors and friends at our 4th annual 4th of July on the 4th. We’ll be cooking up bratwurst on the gill and some veggies for the non-meateaters – the rest is up to you all in potluck fashion. There is post on NextDoor where people have RSVP’d and posted what they’ll be bringing. Meredith Eckhardt is keeping the list and coordinating food so we cover the gamut of picnic goodies.  To RSVP and communicate with Meredith about what you’re bringing, click here.

As always, family, friends and gusts are welcome. We have several corn hole games, horse shoes – and any other lawn and party games you have and would like to bring.  If you have any tables for the food set-up, please bring them down an hour ahead. We’ll have water, ice and lemonade (with adult add-ins) but if you’d like something else, please bring that as well. Canopies, chairs etc. are always welcome.

Looking forward to it – see you all Wednesday!

4th Of July Weekend BBQ In the Park

Annual Bison Ridge 4th Of July BBQ & Potluck
Saturday, July 1 – Noon to 3 at the Bison Ridge Community Park

We had an amazing event last year for the 4th, lets see if we can top it this year. This year we’ll have BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken, and grilled veggies – just bring a summer outdoor bbq-themed appetizer, side or dessert to share and whatever you’d like to drink. Meredith Eckhardt will be coordinating the list, so please reach out to her on Nextdoor here.

Like last year, we’ll have lawn games, horseshoes and other fun things. Just bring down seating and if you have a pop-up for shade and tables if you like, by all means. If you have friends/family in town or would like to invite friends from the area, all are welcome. It’s a good time. Please RSVP here if you are able to make it or ‘interested’ if a possibility so we can get an approximate head count to know how much meat to throw on the smoker.

Also, don’t forget to reach out to Meredith for the potluck items so we don’t all bring the same thing. Also, if you’re interested in helping coordinate and/or set-up, message Jay Eckhardt.

If you’re not already on the Bison Ridge Nextdoor Community, sign up here.

We’ll have corn-hole, croquet, horseshoes and of course the playground equipment for the kids or adults who act like kids. If you have any lawn our outdoor games – please feel free.

Please RSVP on  Nextdoor by clicking here. Family, friends and any guests you have in are all welcome.  Just let us know a count when you RSVP so we know how much meat to throw on the smokers.

Sunrise Zip Line Adventure – August 20th

Who’s up for a little adventure?

Via Nextdoor, we’re getting a group together to go an try the Zip Line tour at the Sunrise ski resort – though it’s not limited to that experience, they also offer downhill mountain biking and scenic chair lift tour where you can see the sites and maybe do a bit of light hiking. The best part, the more people we get to go, the better the price!

Here’s a link to their site for more info:

Summer Things to Do

If you are interested, all the details are posted on our Nextdoor site here.

Please RSVP there by this Thursday August 11th so we can get a count and book the reservation. Again, you don’t have to do the zip line, you can go to see the sights and hang out.
